Hi all

Happy New Year to all.

I am visiting China in April this year for a work conference and will have
limited free time ( mostly around Shanghai ). Also visiting Guilin, Xian,
Beijing

and a river cruise on the Yangtze River between Yichang and Chongqing.

Firstly , if anyone knows of any birding areas close to, or in the above
cities and secondly what would be a good field guide to have ?

Has anyone had any experience with "The Birds of East Asia" by Mark Brazil ?

Thanks in advance

Dick Jenkin
