This morning, in a rainforest patch near Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, I saw three species of fruit-dove - Wompoo, Superb and Rose-crowned - and three species of monarch - White-eared, Spectacled and Black-faced - within an hour. A pair of Great Crested Grebes were in their usual haunt nearby at Wappa Dam.
