Yes, PeterSo best wishes for 2010 - the UN's Year of Biodiversity http://www.cbd.int/2010/welcome/ I hope it will be the year in which birdos and all who care for nature - and their websites etc. - organise to stand up to say that we have had enough of the assaults on our natural heritage (overseas as well in Australia) and demand protection and an end to careless self-indulgent exploitation of the ecosystems that give us inspiration, food and comfort. As a local pollie I can do what I can with my single vote and 4 minutes speaking time - but people have to let my colleagues know what they think to give my arguments weight. Michael Norris |
