I saw a Grass Owl earlier this evening on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The bird was flying low over grassland interspersed with ponds in sugar cane country near Bli Bli, about 30 minutes after sunset. Grass Owls were reported recently from the Nambour area, which is not far from Bli Bli.
