Subject: | Manfrotto tripods - thanks |

Thanks very much to Tony, Sonja, David, Greg and the two Peters for the helpful advice on tripods. I am now well-placed to check things out at shops. Fluid-heads and joysticks are new to me, so I will take my scope along and check them out. My now-broken tripod was probably one of those wobbly ones, as I thought that a tripod was a tripod and didn't realise that it was possible to have a good or inferior one. The head is not designed to be readily removed from the legs. Best wishes, Carl Weber. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
