I'm guessing that what this "lens" does is reduce the dynamic range of the image to match the capabilities of the sensor, rather than actually increase the range captured. I assume it does this by masking bright parts with an LCD filter, like "dodging". If so, then it's more of a filter than a lens, and would only help cope with highlights, not low lighting in general. A good idea, but whether it would be useful more often than it would be a hindrance in bird photography is another matter. Peter Shute -------------------------- Sent using BlackBerry |
