Grey-fronted or Yellow-tinted HE, Cape York

Many thanks to all those who replied. Consensus was unanimous -
Yellow-tinted.

very similar to young Fuscous with which it has been lumped in the past.

saw two Yellow-tinted HE's in the Musgrave area a couple of years ago and
the distribution map of Pizzey & Knight shows that they occur up to the
Mitchell River on Cape York.

The pale bill base indicating non-breeding status. Yellow Tinted
distribution reaches onto the Cape across to the Lakefield area. The habitat
photo looks very unsuitable for
Grey-fronted but fine for Yellow Tinted
