Dusky Moorhen and eggs

I would like to ask members if anyone knows of the record number of eggs
laid by a Dusky Moorhen.  I recently saw a nest at Gympie and when the bird
flew, I counted 17 eggs!  This seems quite extraordinary.  I have
photographs of both the bird on the nest and the eggs.
