Dear All

Yesterday Filip Verbelen kindly filled the last gap in the collection of
Oriental crow species on Oriental Bird Images (OBI), the image database
of the OBC.

Today he has accomplished the same for pittas, one of the world's most
colourful and fascinating families of birds, with a superb photo of Sula
Pitta (Pitta dohertyi) at
http://orientalbirdimages.org/search.php?action=searchresult&Bird_ID=1318

We now have photographs for you to admire of all the pitta species found
in the Oriental Region (according to current taxonomy). Just go to
www.orientalbirdimages.org type pitta into the search box and take it
from there! Wonderful birds!

Huge thanks to Filip and the many hundreds of other photographers for
their support of the OBI project. Without your generous contributions it
would not be possible.

Please feel free to pass this message on to any other relevant egroups.

Best wishes

Krys
