There was a single Black-tailed Native Hen at Lake Sedgwick at Mt Annan Botanic Garden today (1.30pm). It's a new bird for the bird list, the first I have seen in more than 22 years working there. Yesterday afternoon, c. 3 pm, I saw a single adult Square-tailed Kite, being severely harrassed by a Magpie, c. 3 km north of Luddenham on the Northern Road.
