Is nothing sacred? An unwanted mail-order catalogue in our letter-box today includes an adv. for a "Bird Clock" - "Hear bird calls on the hour!" Hours represented by paintings of Australian birds. Kookaburra top centre. And "Bird sounds from 8AM to 7PM". First bird-call not until 8AM? Disgraceful! (But at least they "can be turned off by removing battery") Syd =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
