Steve,Thanks for this. Not many frogs around here at the moment. Just as well they don't have to eat every day! On a slightly related topic I asked this of a friend recently and wondered if any one else out there would like to comment. I am starting to suspect a mutual exclusion of Eastern Browns and Taipans. It may not be complete but why have the Taipans not expanded their range into all the beautiful grassland habitats of the Atherton Tablelands. They are pretty much restricted to their pre white fella range. Eastern Browns on the other hand have made good use of the changes. Do you have any thoughts on this?
