What nonsense. The concept that 'Australia' means just land and excludes our 
seas was discarded long ago. Moreover, birds need to feed as well as breed and 
many species spend more time on feeding grounds away from their breeding 
grounds. On that basis one would also exclude all terrestrial migrants that 
breed overseas!
