Hi All,Just a quick update for those checking their frequent flyer points and flight schedules :) John Blyth reports that the unusual warbler that was first sighted on Thursday (not Friday as earlier reported) at Bayswater Bird Sanctuary in Perth, WA has not as yet been relocated. A number of people including the finders have revisited the site today. Based on their observations the finders believe it was most probably a Sylvia spp. and appeared most like an Orphean Warbler. No Sylvia warbler has previously been recorded in Australia. Cheers, Rohan Rohan Clarke www.wildlifeimages.com.au Most recent update: http://www.pbase.com/wildlifeimages/vagrants |
