Many thanks to Peter & Rhonda Barrand who yesterday took us to the
Powerful Owl site near Penola in SE of SA. There were two at the same
roost, a male and a female, the latter glaring down at us with her
fierce bright orange /yellow eyes. We later went to another nearby site
where a Barking Owl was roosting in a gum tree.

house. An adult, on checking and nothing else around was responding.
