(Dead) Painted Firetail in Werribee (Vic)

A Painted Firetail recently flew into a window of a house near the Treatment
Plant - I have seen the frozen body (the guy who found it phoned BOCA) and
it is a female. My automatic assumption was an aviary escape - anyone ever
had any records remotely near here?
