Hi Peter The GPS information is a part of the location description, and you add the sighting/s to the location from the species database. You could set up a location for every single bird sighting and get your 1 second GPS location differences, but that's impractical and implies that birds are tied to the ground. If it stores coordinates for each bird, it might give a false impression if you're actually sitting in your car transcribing notes taken on paper.
