A few years ago I was working in the garden, cutting some cement pavers with a masonry blade on an angle grinder. A foraging Magpie walked within a 2 metres of me, seemingly unconcerned by the scramming noise and clouds of dust. It seemed far more interested in picking at the lawn for whatever grubs and worms it was seeking.
