Hi All,
I returned in mid June from a 9 day holiday in Bali, not all birding but a fair
bit. I managed to do two day trips with Sumadi Wayan as a guide: one to
Batukaru and the other to the area around Bedugul. I also stayed a few nights
on Nusa Lembongan, and spent the best part of a day on Nusa Penida. It was
here that I saw free flying Bali Starlings in the fairly recently established
population. This was a major trip highlight.
I've written a trip report and posted it on Surfbirds at
http://www.surfbirds.com/trip_report.php?id=1669 if anyone is interested, but
can also supply a word format document if anyone would like. Cheers,
frank
