I don't think birds on the northern beaches ever stop breeding!!
masked Lapwings at Mona Vale seem to always have young as do Magpies,
Magpielarks & Spotted Pardalotes around Avalon.
Must be global warming or it may be the birds are aware of their
economy boosting powers by being cute with young and attracting more
bird watchers ;-)
Figbirds are also active around back of North Sydney Leagues Club!

Hi Stephen and Birding-aussers.
Birds are commencing the breeding cycle on the Northern Beaches (of
Sydney): Rainbow Lorikeets checking out hollows at Warriewood Wetland,
Grey Fantails everywhere performing arial acrobatics at the same
place, the Middle Creek Osprey is believed to be on eggs and
Australian Magpie nestbuilding at Careel Bay.
