In the light of recent discussions on Birding-aus about the variable quality
of ecological consultancy reports, some of you may be interested in
attending the annual conference of the Ecological Consultants Association of
NSW Inc. (ECANSW). Details about the conference are shown below. Only one
presentation deals directly with birds, but other presentations may have
some indirect reference to birds and their habitats.

The annual conference of the Ecological Society of NSW Inc. (ECANSW) will be
held on 4 September 2009 at The Harbourside, Queens Wharf in Newcastle, NSW.
The theme of the conference is "Ecology at the Urban/Rural Interface".
