Hi Dave

We dipped on both Little Stint and OBP's at Werribee yesterday. The
reworked ponds on the right as you enter the Spit gate had half a dozen
Stints only and we couldn't turn any of them into a Little. A pair of
Double-banded Plovers here was a nice consolation as was a pair of immature
Sea Eagles in the T-section. T-section all had too much water for waders as
did most other areas. Hunted for OBP's all along the beachfront area and up
to the Borrow Pits, but ran out of time. Fan-tailed Cuckoo at the Borrow
Pits and a pair of Brolga were along Paradise Rd (I think!). Also
interesting was watching a Black-shouldered Kite repeatedly diving on a
Brown Falcon, firstly as the Falcon was on a fence post then on the ground -
we wondered whether the Falcon was a juvenile and not able to handle itself
in such a situation.

Regards
Bob Cook
