On the 9 network's A Current Affair tonight, the Superb Parrot
received negative treatment. The basic theme of the story was that
there was no problem with the numbers of Superb Parrot, and that their
numbers are actually increasing markedly, and that jobs for humans
should come first. It is a pity that they showed pictures of Musk
Lorikeets as Superbs, but, hey don't let the facts get in the way of a
good story, eh!
I would like to add a disclaimer that I do not watch ACA voluntarily, it is just that my dear old mother, who is 90 and has rapidly increasing dementia, likes to watch it over dinner. At least watching it over dinner does help my diet. Nothing like ACA to put you off your food.
