Interestingly, we observed Pelicans eating very young goslings of introduced
Geese on the Murray River in Mildura. The geese were freely living in the
vicinity of the local caravan park and over two years lost almost all of at
least 4 broods of around 12 young in each brood. We didn't see the Pelicans
take all of them, but directly observed it at least twice.

Have pelicans been observed eating the nestlings of other species?
