Duck Shooting at the Western Treatment Plant

When i saw duck shooters there about 2-3 years ago, they arrived in a 
small tinny. 
They also setup just north of the lake borrie outlet. So they were 
bordered by the sea to the east, by the outlet to the south and by small 
marshes and extensive reedbeds to the west.  Effectively making them out 
of range for any authorities and angry birdwatchers to get at.
Dont they arm people against poachers in certain countries? :)

Sadly, they probably arrived by boat and broke no laws.

This loophole is very old.  Of course, only being able to shoot out to 
sea, 
the chances of them being able to retrieve their "bag" are lessened.  I 
suppose they have some fun shooting at practice targets like Gannets or 
the 
occasional OBP.
