I had a flock of 25 Yellow-billed Cuckoos at the Dry Tortugas in late April a
few years ago.

I struck at least six Fan-tailed Cuckoos all doing the alternative call
around a clearing at Cann River ( Gippsland, Vic) in the rainforest at
the back of the caravan park. This would have been January in about 1995
or 96. Probably moved on by now .

Hi Barry,

While at the top of Gunlom Falls (Kakadu) on the 10th of July last year,
I
was quite sure I watched a small flock of four Black-eared Cuckoos fly
overhead. Not quite as unusual as ten? The flight was swift and the
very
black eye line was distinct. They flew quite low across the cliff line.
