I saw them in this location a few years ago:

Are they known in this area? I saw several freely walking around.
I didn't "tick" as I assumed they were not wild.
Please confirm.

Flock of 9 Helmeted Guineafowl and 10 tiny juvs today on the approach road to
Mareeba Wetlands, near the B & B before the second stream crossing; wild and
unrestrained, shame about the colour variations but hey.......
I know visitors to FNQ are sometimes after this species.
