Hi Folks,
The Laughing Gull is still present along the Cairns Foreshore, I saw it yesterday flying to the south. It is looking a bit darker that it was a few weeks ago and seems quite happy joining in with the Silver Gulls trying to scrounge bread that was being thown at them! Many of the Migratory waders are starting to colour up and Sacred Kingfishers have just returned with one foraging on the mudflat yesterday. There was also Collared Kingfisher and Mangrove Robin, which was very vocal in the mangroves at the northern end of the Esplanade.

Cheers,
Keith
