Hi All,

Janis Hosking, David Geering, myself and David's daughter undertook the
Shorebird survey at the Dubbo STP on the weekend.

Two trios of nesting Magpie Geese were found with a total of thirteen
goslings. Great Crested Grebes (rare for Dubbo)and good numbers of
assorted ducks, swans and a few other common species were also present.

The Council is in the process of designing a bird hide at the STP so
that some of the site can be accessed without Council staff supervision.
Nice!

Cheers Tim Hosking
