A client of mine told me that he and a friend were threatened with
prosecution for hopping out of their car to look at a dead snake in northern
Queensland.

I was threatened similarly for taking a couple of dead snakes to my son's
class to teach the kids how to tell the difference between venomous and
non-venomous.
