Hudwit at Werribee - white-tips to the tail

When Dave Torr and I were watching the Hud'wit with Roy Bryant this morning, 
the bird fanned its tail and Roy pointed out narrow, but distinct white-tips to 
the tail feathers. I didn't think a lot of it at the time but having read some 
of the id. literature, apparently it's another good feature to look out for. 
Has anyone else noticed this?Rob Morris
