Hi All,
I visited the Western Treatment Plant at Werribee, Victoria today and
had great views of the Hudsonian Godwit at Walsh's Lagoon. The bird was
present at Walsh's for most of the day, preening, feeding and
occasionally flying around. Many visitors were able to see this
wonderful bird. I managed to get a few photos from quite some distance
away. The bird appears to be associating with Black-tailed Godwits and
Bar-tailed Godwits.
Also saw Spotted Sandpiper on the pond between Lake Borrie and the coast.
