Did I sound upset ?? Not at all. Just a little tittle tattle about
Tattlers, that's all.

Tony

I don't think anyone is accusing you of anything, they're just voicing
support for Tobias.

We all know the "chilling effect" that fear of getting an ID wrong can
have. Plenty of people get excited about wandering tattler to Tobias'
report of course aroused some excitement.

Personally I'm just glad he posted it and grateful to him for doing so.
Equally, there is nothing wrong with people testing the ID on a bird
that can be difficult to tell apart without hearing the call.

All is well in birding aus land - nobody needs to get upset!

Hey you ( unnamed ) folk who (privately) suggested I was saying Tobias'
observation was incorrect. I said no such thing. All I said was that I'd
only ever seen ones and twos at a time - and btw, mainly at Alexandra
Point near Caloundra.
