Hi Michael,Whilst researching another matter, I came across your enquiry on Birding-Aus regarding Ostriches on Eyre Peninsula in SA and I can fill in some of the details for you. During the late 1800's Ostriches were farmed at Emeroo Station a few kilometres outside of Port Augusta. The following link will fill in the details for you http://www.environment.sa.gov.au/heritage/pdfs/showcasing/emeroo_ostrich_farm.pdf. In addition a Google search for "Ostrich Farm Port Augusta" will yield further information for you.
