spent a most enjoyable hour and a half sitting at kunoth bore on Tanami road, next to Hamiton downs youth camp turn off. the highlight was a single male flock pigeon, which flew in over the dam and then landed for a drink. Stayed about five minutes, went down to the water, had a drink and then was off on pointed wings. There would have been fifty plus common bronzewings and over 30 Bourke's parrots, around 25 Diamond Doves, 15 zebra finch in the time that we were there. Other birds of interest were pallid cuckoo, mulga parrots and Pt Lincoln parrots. Also, the full moon coming up behind the bloodwood and two dingos trotting behind the dam were special.
