The Canadian Boreal is one of the world?s most important breeding areas for migratory birds, with 1 billion to 3 billion individual birds from at least 300 species known to regularly breed there. Many coming from the US. The oil companies are mining or plan to mine a large extent of this land. Full details in this 39 page report.
