G;day PeterThanks for the info on Cattle Egrets. It tallies with my understanding of the breeding situation in Victoria. It will be fascinating to watch the Cattle Egret invasion in the coming years. I didn't report the WbSw in the Parliament gardens and certainly don't need to visit head office more often. While I have the floor I will report that in 26 years in this house I have only ever seen one WbSw in my garden so they are obviously capable of moving across fair distances of unsuitable territory.
