Hi Eric,
Local knowledge lists those Emus as 'not tickable'. They're on what is
known as the old army site, which has been stocked with all sorts of
weird animals. There's a;so a breeding population of Western Red Roos
there!
Did you do the Wheeny Ck canyon? It's apparently quite good.
