Hi All,
Rod Gardner's report about Cape York and Iron Range is very interesting - especially for those who haven't been, but hope to soon.

It did raise a serious issue, though, and this is about people broadcasting GPS locations of good birding sites located on private property. It would be hoped people would have the sense not to do this. If someone has been to a good birding location on private property, then by all means, advertise the owners' contact details (with their permission, or course), and let others get in touch with them for information, and most importantly, for PERMISSION.

If we all use a little common sense, and common courtesy, then we are more likely to keep open lines of good communication and good-will, and keeping the birding available to all.

Rant over, cheers, to all,
John Tongue
Ulverstone, Tas.
