Fairy Dell is near Bruthen.
You turn off the Great Alpine Road at Wiseleigh and head north along Deep
Creek Road. The Fairy Dell carpark is well signposted and the walking
track loops through the rainforest.

Would either of you kind lads care to advise us where this Fairy Dell
is, apart from being in East Gippsland that is ?
Thanks.
Tony.

Richard
I visited Fairy Dell in on consecutive days in mid-November and saw
20-30 Topknot Pigeons on the first day, none on the second. They were
flying from tree to tree and occasionally congregating in one tree.
I also saw Rose Robin, Brown Gerygone, Bassian Thrush, Wonga Pigeon, and
a Lyrebird.
It was my first visit and it is indeed a lovely spot with interesting
birds .

Diana (Bryant) and I visited Fairy Dell in East Gippsland on Sunday
morning (our first visit) - a lovely spot with interesting birds to be
found.
In keeping with the recent spate of sightings of Topknot Pigeons in
eastern Victoria we counted 20 Topknots in a tall tree above the walking
track on the way back from the Dell.
Other species of interest included Rose Robin, Brown Gerygone, Bassian
Thrush, Wonga Pigeon (with several more calling) & probable Red-browed
Treecreeper.
