Two largish parrots flew over Hallam (SE Melbourne) at about 6am this morning in a westerley direction. They had very long tails, & were about half as long again as a Galah, which flew beside this pair. They appeared to be pale underneath, & I thought I could see light coloured markings on the wing, but unfortunately I didn't have time to get my binoculars on them. Wingbeats were steady, & flight was fairly direct. Not much to go on, but any ideas?
