Gooday birders Watched a group of three Channel-billed Cuckoos today at Glendale, near Newcastle, NSW, close together about 15m up in a cluster of gum trees, one ate a large Stick Insect. Also saw a white phase Grey Goshawk zoom overhead with a Magpie in hot pursuit, at Maryland, also near Newcastle, NSW. Last Sunday, 16.11.08, saw a pair of adult Spine-tailed Logrunners and a single immature on a rainforest track near Frying Pan Camp, Barrington Tops area, NSW.
