Dear All,

The annual Singapore bird race was held on the weekend. The winning team scored 142 species out of a possible 360 odd! Quite a remarkable feat in a country of only 683 Sq. Km. (approx. 20% of Sydney metropolitan area) and a population density of nearly 6800 per Sq. Km. Perhaps running madly around the countryside is not the best technique in a Twitcathon.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford
