Steve
I'll leave the forum to fill you in on Powerful Owls et al at the Mount. I'll
just say that one of my othe hobbies is the US Civil War and there are a number
of veterans buried at Toowong Cemetery and it's not a bad spot for birding
either!.

Hi All,
I am staying in Toowong, Brisbane for a couple of days and the closest place
that even looks half interesting for birding is the Mount Coot-Tha Gardens.

Is this a good place? Is there a list somewhere?

I may have the opportunity to get to Oxley Common if I can get a car.. I
believe that's not a bad place? Anywhere else interesting.

Cheers
