Hi Louise,
I would say that without parents they wouldn't be able to learn how to be
swallows. The kindest thing under the circumstances might be to let nature
take its course and hope the living parent finds a new partner for next
year. If they were nearly fledged I might have given different advice but
with eggs I think it would be cruel to make them hatch.
