Hi I live in Bairnsdale and have a nest under my verandah where a pair of swallows have nested for the past few years. I have watched them raise two sets of young and they currently have eggs in the nest. Unfortunately one of the swallows flew into the kitchen window and died. The other swallow has only been back to the nest once and I haven't seen it for the last 3 days. Is there anything I can do for the eggs, will they still hatch, should I leave them in the nest or bring them inside. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
