I found one a few years ago, about 2004 I think, terrified, sheltering from the dozens of pedestrians walking around it by huddling in the doorway of an apartment building on Macleay St Potts Point, just around the corner from where I lived in Challis Ave. Walking home one early evening peak hour I went straight past it and spotted it in the corner of my eye -- it took about 30 seconds before it actually registered on me what I had just seen. We caught it and handed it over to WIRES. For those who don't know, Potts Point is in inner urban Sydney, effectively Kings Cross. I never saw them in the Botanic Gardens or Domain (about a kilometre toward the city across the valley that Woolloomooloo occupies), so I have no idea where it came from.
