Sorry it's a couple of days old, but I checked for the Swift Parrots in Penrith on Saturday morning and I can confirm they were not there. The blossom in the tree looks to have dried out and looks less appealing even to me. We had a look in a couple of the flowering Iron Barks in front of the school and around the oval and only found Noisy Friarbirds. I wonder if they turn around and head south when the Friarbirds arrive? They friars are very aggressive and they seem to like the same sort of things.
