During a bird survey at Rocky Ponds Ck, about 30 km south of Home Hill, on 19 September we found a lone female Flock Bronzewing on short grass near a drying wetland. Somewhat surprising, as the site is on the Burdekin delta about 5 km from the sea, and we spent August driving from Rockhampton to Darwin and completely failed to find any Flock Bronzewings. Took a few photos. ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
