Hi
I STRONGLY urge you to contact WIRES, a volunteer organization concerned
with the rescue, rehabilitation and recovery of all native wildife. Please
call them on the number from the linked branchlist (pick your closest one)
I have no idea where Parkes is excpet western NSW, you can probably pinpoint
the closest branch.

or 1300 WIRES (1300 094 737)
They will advise what to do and better still organize for a Licenced wildlife
carer to take it from you and assess its health. Please remember it is against
the law to keep native wildlife without a National Parks Licence. :) I am
sure it is in your best interest that this bird recovers. Call the experts
please.
Thanks for your help
Kind regards
